Getting to Aitutaki

The main International airline that has been servicing the Cook Islands for many years is Air New Zealand. Its flights arrive at the country's main airport at Avarua on the island of Rarotonga from New Zealand (Auckland), Los Angeles (USA), Nadi (Fiji), and Papeete (Tahiti). Flights to Aitutaki

From Rarotonga, Air Rarotonga operate many flights to Aitutaki on modern jet-prop Saab 340 aircraft. Aitutaki is 160 miles north of Rarotonga, which takes 40 minutes by air, and wonderful aerial views of the lagoon and islands can be seen before landing.

The runway on Aitutaki is situated on the northern tip of the island and the small Aitutaki Airport is typically island style, relaxed and welcoming you to paradise!

Air Rarotonga also offer day tours to Aitutaki, though one day may seem far too short to take in all the activities that Aitutaki has to offer.
